  I'm a former employee of Jericho Home Improvements. I've always been impressed with John and Dave's ability to make a company grow. I've also been impressed with their ability to pay their pros a better wage than their competitors (which generally results in hiring the best of the best). To gain some insight, I decided to read some of their reviews. As a business owner, I understand the importance of "Word of Mouth". What I've read thus far has appalled me. These are good guys. This is a company that TRULY DOES have the ability to find the most qualified professionals for your home improvement project (because they pay well and they're willing to invest the money it takes to find the best craftsmen). I would like everyone to know that sometimes you just get a bad egg. It's hard to find a professional craftsman that meets the qualifications that Jericho requires. Note: It's extremely difficult to get a client to write a good review. Normally people only want to write reviews when they have a complaint. Every day that my guys are on a job site, I worry that they may make a mistake causing a negative review. It's a real concern and reading these reviews only validates it. Even if an employee messes up a job and I fire them for it, a customer can still write a horrendous review about the experience although it will never happen again. I just want everyone to take reviews with a grain of salt. You inspire me!

  One of the worst companies ever. The back splash is not only the wrong tile it's a horrible job. Had them back out twice. Still wrong. Told me they were sending their 'Master Tile Layer'. I was an apprentice tile layers years back and would have been fired for such shoddy work. Also the salesman stood me up at the tile store. This is after I told him I work nights and would have to get up to meet him. The faucet is made of plastic and broke within a month. I could go on and on. They make all kinds of promises. The job was not completed on time. Sub par materials. They were the highest bid but had decent reviews so I used them. Spent thousands and thousands. Then spent more to a real home improvement company to fix their mess.
